Remember that
saying: 'One rotten apple spoils the
bunch'?
As little
children we often go through 'awfulizing' stages. If the mashed potatoes touch the corn
everything is ruined! Remember that one?
And then
comes that next stage: Report Cards.
Four 'A's'
and one miserable 'C' and you know what happens, right? Where does all the focus go?
So,
obviously, some of this sense of lumping the good and bad together in a formula
that spells: N-O-T-G-O-O-D-E-N-O-U-G-H has
followed us from childhood.
It is also
obvious that as adults it is impossible not to get some 'C's'!
So how do we
remind ourselves to pay attention to all the 'A's and 'B's?

DE-AGGRAGATING 101
It is crucial to separate the hard spots
in life from the bits of light - otherwise gravity takes over!
Ask yourself:
Who taught
you to let the negatives take over?
Can you remember how they conveyed this message?
Think
about why they might have done this?
How did believing this affect their life?
Do you
really want to follow in their footsteps?
