A TIME OF RENEWAL

The world is new to us every morning – That is the Lord’s gift, and we should believe we are reborn each day.”   - Baal Shem Tov

Today is the first day of the Jewish New Year.  It is considered a time of renewal - a time to evaluate and rethink how we have lived in the past year.  A truly valuable process for all of us!

In our multi-cultural, multi-religious world we are blessed with the ability to take beauty and wisdom from many sources.

Our role is to open our eyes and receive and learn from this pool of knowledge that has come down to us through generations of ‘our people’ – the human race.

We are fortunate to have records and sources that allow us to learn and evolve from our ancestors.

May we all open our hearts and minds to the beauty that surrounds us and use this as a time of renewal!
