SERIOUSLY SPEAKING

When we say “It’s not fair”, we are stating that we expect life itself to follow certain rules of justice and fairness.

Life just is.  Humans make, follow and break rules.
The delusion of an external fairness can often lead to a sense of profound betrayal and sometimes even depression.

Why do we keep expecting ‘fair’ when all our experience highlights the painfulness of holding on to this concept?

  3. Yes it is so true life is not fair. a fact of life. thanks for the reminder part of growing up we should be taught this early
    i try to remember maybe i did learn early i do remember saying that's not fair....well so it is.
