SERIOUSLY SPEAKING - THE CHARLIE BROWN DANCE

"If I only try harder…" we say to ourselves, not at all taking into account the agenda of the other person.  Or how about this one: "What did I do wrong?"
Do we really believe it is all up to us?

The 'Lucy's' have their own agenda.  No matter how hard Charlie Brown tried, Lucy was going to move that ball!

We have to recognize and accept that we are only 50% of the dance.

DANCE WITH IT!   EXPERIENTIAL APPS

An opportunity to experiment with some fun
ideas...

REMEMBER YESTERDAY'S STORY ABOUT CHARLIE BROWN AND LUCY?
WHO ARE YOUR 'LUCY'S'?
Banging your head against that same old wall?
Think about the situations that feel repetitive - the 'been there, done' this moments.
If you take that imaginary step back and describe these repeat plays to someone else what would you say?

What are the common denominators?
Can you tease out the threads that are similar in all of these situations?
Are you choosing the same people?
Walking into the same situations?
Listening to the same stories?
Expecting the outcome to be different?

If it doesn't smell right, look right, sound right - don't deny it!
Face it and call it like it is.
Watch out for that little voice that says:  "This time it will be different…"
