Ever have one of those days that feels just plain old . . . yukky?

I know, not very mature language – but you know what I mean – a day when you just don’t want to do anything.

Well, okay, not totally true.  You just don’t want to do anything you’re supposed to do!

Hanging out in a hammock with an icy cold drink, watching the ocean waves move in and out . . .

Yup, you could get behind that, right?

So what are those days about?

And how do you get through them, especially when the ocean is too far away to be more than a beautiful dream?

What do ya say?

Any brilliant ideas?

  1. go to the ocean! nah could get fired etc...ok just hang in there and plan a day off at the beach, u can do it. good luck. me, i ...well once in awhile i just drop everything and go to beach..or park..

  2. The great Olympian and shot put athlete, Al Orter, who LOVED to eat junk food, had a rule: he would stick to a strict diet for 13 days in a row, but once every two weeks, he would allow himself to eat WHATEVER HE WANTED, WITHOUT GUILT! Maybe we all need to give ourselves permission to do that with our time, or with whatever, and stop beating ourselves up!
