SHOULD NOT!

'I shouldn't feel_________' you say.
(Fill in the blank. Could be:  Angry, sad, depressed, unhappy, even relieved…)

'Why not?'

You answer:

'I have no reason to feel…'

'They told me I shouldn't feel…'

'Other people don't feel…'

What do ya say?

You get how ridiculous this is, right?
Ever do it to yourself?

IT'S OKAY TO BE HUMAN!

"I'm so down in the dumps…I don't know what's wrong with me!"
She was talking to me after a morning of one mini-disaster after another.

"I'm really sad," he sighed.
"My best friend is moving out of town.  I’m such a wimp!  What's wrong with me?"

What do ya say?

Do you know what's wrong with them?

SERIOUSLY SPEAKING - APPRECIATE MUCH?

Did your family Thanksgiving dinners include going around the table and saying what you were grateful for?

Remember this - being thankful - and mindful - of what you have does not take away your right to:

        Want more…
        Be envious…
        Be angry…

Appreciation for what we have does not mean we stop being human!

DANCE WITH IT!   EXPERIENTIAL APPS
An opportunity to experiment with some fun ideas…

TRY THIS:

Make a list of things that you appreciate…
Now, the fun part… For each of those appreciations, list a resentment!
The formula is:  I appreciate/ I resent
Continue until you run out!

What happens as you do this?

LOST IN SPACE…

Do you know what a glazed chipmunk look is?

Ever been there?

Check this out:
"I never know how to react when something hits me out of the blue," she sighed.

"And then," she continued disgustedly," I get so angry with myself and go through a hundred 'should haves'!

"Tell me," she beseeched me, "Do you think something's really wrong with me?"

"You know," she continued," one of those awful mental illnesses?"

Yeah.
It's called being human…

What do ya say?
Are you one of the billions who have this diagnosis?
