In our culture we are often shunted away from our feelings - especially
the 'negative' ones.
We run from them, medicate against them, talk over and around them and
are scolded for not 'getting it together' fast!
Nice if it worked…
Unfortunately, pushing things down tends to create
emotional basements full of unwanted and unresolved feelings…
