Random, perhaps, but those 'measuring
moments' can also be useful. (Check out Wednesday's post)
True, if you allow them to trigger
your inner Bully - "scold, scold, scold"- they create pain.
If however you use them as moments to
non-judgmentally review where you are, what you have accomplished and where you want
to go next - remember the mini- steps - then they can be invaluable times of
reflection, renewal and re-direction!
DANCE WITH IT! EXPERIENTIAL APPS
An opportunity to
experiment with some fun
ideas...
HOW TO USE YOUR
SPEED BUMPS
1) Stop - breathe and think evaluation NOT
de-valuation!
2) Remember whereever you are right now has
value - use it to learn and stretch!
3) Count Coup - Be honest about what you have
accomplished!
Maybe you've taken
the road less traveled? Yay you!
Where have you
been?
What have you done?
Who have you
learned from?
4) Give yourself - right where you are now - at
least 5 appreciations. This is really
important!
