"The adage 'you can't make a silk purse out
of a sow's ear means that it is impossible to make something
good when you start out with something inferior."
Somehow we have been indoctrinated with
the desire to find the good in everyone.
A nice idea, but what it often does is remove our ability to be honest
with ourselves about our feelings.
We judge ourselves if we don't like someone.
"Give them a chance," we
exhort ourselves. "They might just
surprise you and turn out to be really nice…"
All true, but what happens in this
process to our trust in our own judgment?
When did we start believing that we had to like everyone?

CREATING A REALITY PROFILE
It really is okay to use our judgment
to evaluate a situation or person. We
still have a choice about what we want to do with this knowledge - If you want
to be with someone who is all wrong for you - that's your option - just don't con
yourself about it or them!
Think about a situation or person.
On a scale of 1-10 (with 10 high), score your compatibility.
